What we do?What the Container Logistics Action Group does?

The Container Logistics Action Group (CLAG) was created to represent container carriers, Customs Brokers, Freight Forwarders importers and exporters involved in the container landside logistics task at Port Botany.

CLAG has a single purpose. Our objective is to improve stevedoring landside operational processes, to make them more transparent and equitable and to reduce stevedoring charges and the oncosts created in the supply chain by the stevedoring process.

CLAG was created to enable the group to negotiate collectively with the stevedores without creating the possibility that CLAG members could be accused of collusive behaviour.

CLAG is working in a close relationship with the ATANSW. Many of the members of CLAG are also members of the ATANSW. The Chairman and Committee of CLAG are also the Chairman and Committee of the ATANSW container carrying section.
